Leviticus 1:3-5

³ If his offering is a ^(A)burnt offering from the herd, he shall bring it near, a male ^(B)without blemish; he shall bring it near ^(C)to the doorway of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh. ^4 (D)And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, that it may be accepted for him to make ^(E)atonement on his behalf. ^5 (F)Then he shall slaughter the ^[a]young bull before Yahweh; and Aaron’s sons the priests shall bring near ^(G)the blood and ^(H)splash the blood around on the altar that is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.
